INTERN
An internship at the Magnes is a great way to earn academic credits or to gain experience in the arts and the non-profit arena. High school, college, and graduate students interested in museum studies, art, Jewish studies, non-profit development, marketing and management are encouraged to contact the Magnes at info@magnes.org. DOCENT
Magnes docents are trained volunteers who interpret the Magnes exhibitions for the public both on-site and in the community. Training includes current touring techniques consistent with contemporary museum standards. Docents who successfully complete training receive the following benefits: - reduced membership rates
- special appreciation events
- priority access to public programs
- opportunities for involvement on the Docent Council
